went to Belle Isle with Hendra today, but there was thunder and the sky was turning dark so i forced him to scoot off with me haha. went to Kroger after that, and didn't manage to escape the rain in the end. it was drizzling when we stepped out of Kroger, then the rain got heavier and i was dripping when i finally reached the dorms ><
(i just realised part of my post went missing. i was saying Belle Isle was nice, it's the closest place that identifies with the slogan "virginia is for lovers". it's actually good for hiking and cycling, pretty outdoor-sy :) and up till now i still don't truly understand why virginia is for lovers.)

Totally relaxing. Ppl brought their dogs and kids for a swim. Others fished, swam, smoked, rafted, dipped, tanned, talked, lazed.....
