it was really hot today. reached a high of 38 deg at 2pm, then after tt it was ard 35 or 36 deg. yikes. it wasn't really that hot in singapore, just real humid and sweaty. it's humid here too, esp in the bathhouse. but sweat dries fast when there's wind, so maybe tt's the diff btn here and SG. i just wanna camp in the waterworks toilet cos it's air-conditioned but cos it's so small, it's kinda paiseh to stand ard doing nothing when everything's practically done.
some ppl piss me off when they don't have EQ, common sense, initiative or whatever-u-call-it.
and it seems to be of a common conclusion that A******** are stupid. really stupid. today someone said they have triangular brains. there are too many egs to prove that they're stupid. they just can't do things right and the way they do things just makes us sigh and shake our heads. and my newest conclusion is that they can't take photos for nuts. real bad. and i thought it's alr idiotproof, i wasn't even asking for good composition, lighting or anything of an upper class!
i think i need to post some nice pics to brighten my mood.

In the bus. setting off!

Natural museum of history.. or museum of natural history (or sth lidat)

it's blurred, told u they can't snap for nuts.

specially for peepa ;)

can u spot us? it just further proves my point.
we went in, but the blood-stained pillow wasn't there. Ford's theater was closed too, a pity. or we cld have seen how Lincoln was assassinated.

hydrants in DC are green! those in virginia are silver. are those state colours?

love this pic :) look at the framing papee! aren't u proud of me :D

the capitol, in it's full glory.

love these shots. we spent more time here than in the museum. it was just beautiful.

this is what we were facing when we sat with our backs to the capitol.

the white house. overrated, i would say. only the snipers on the roof were slightly amusing.

at our fingertips.

smithsonian castle, old and nice! (on the outside only haha. inside was just plain boring)

that's jia lin in the centre, btw.

there were a cluster of triangular mirror-ish structures and we just went photo crazy.

Views from the old post office clock tower:

treats for finding the clock tower. acty we spent alot of time looking for B&J, which was tucked away in the basement of the old post office, obscure and cosy. 1 for 1! (we found the voucher in the free map heeeha!)
