Finally succumbed to the weather and donned my scarf, tights and boots. Don't know whether I should bike tomorrow. It's going to be cold and windy. My bell broke -.- I've repaired almost every part of my bike now! Maybe I don't need a new bell because my brakes, if dry, will do the job. And I'm going to have to rest my bike soon. No point displaying a shiny new bell eh?
Tried to capture the last hints of autumn by visiting 香山 yesterday. Disappointing but a good workout. To think I actually made a mental note to steer clear of mountains after 华山. Fragrant hill was bad, steep, rocky and steppish, but stamina-wise 华山 was worse because when we were there it was colder, windier and basically it's a much higher mountain so it was taxing stamina-wise although the route was somewhat milder. Was drenched in sweat when we finally reached the peak yesterday. Beat any gym workout hands down, but at the end of it I could feel my knees. It was as if I was lacking synovial fluid in my bursae. Lol. The sharp drop in temperatures this coming week should make for more red leaves next weekend. We're always too early haha. And the mist made for bad visibility and photo-taking.

I hate rain. It's the bane of my life. It dropped to 6 deg today. 2 more friends rested their bikes and walked to the hosp today. I biked to FZ then home in the rain and my hoodies are still wet now. I guage the intensity of the rain by the size of raindrops and the distance between them on my specs. Ha today I was almost blinded. Plus the blind spot added by the edge of my hoodie. Good thing is drivers are kinder to the unsheltered on the road in these kinds of weather :D A car actually stopped and gave way to me on the roundabout. Lol. Finally brought my trench out of hibernation. In a few weeks the YRFs will be out. I've been gloving already lest my hands freeze and get stuck to my handlebars and I suppose I've to scarf soon. Some of my friends are already doubling their bottoms!

Spent 12.5 hours in the hospital today. Am beat.
During kids' physio I came across 2 loud kids, 1 of which was so annoying as he was fat, a crybaby, a lazy pig and damn spoilt. I think I got high bp when he started throwing a tantrum, insisting his mother put on his shoes for him. He even tried to hit me but I caught his arms and he tried to bite me! I was so shocked I quickly ran away and left him to his own devices. What a difficult 5-year-old. Anyway his training was over and I couldn't do anything to persuade him to wear his shoes and leave. If he were my kid or sibling he would probably have gotten more than a tight slap. Lol. But his mother didn't even yell, she just kept asking him to put them on himself and eventually walked further and further away. He made quite a scene at the door of the physio clinic, wailing, screaming, crying, throwing his water bottle and banging the door and on the windows. The last I saw was of him sitting on the steps outside the door, still refusing to put on his shoes and having faith that his mother would give in and come back for him. Which she probably did, but I wonder about the shoes. I miss my regular cute Thursday little boy. Now I realize what an angel he's been. Lol.
Alrighty it's time for a good rest till my 7-day work week next week. Haven't been sleeping well.

...and that leaves 1 again.
5 days ago I was amazed at the 5 shades of blue in the sky with sunlight filtering through gaps in the clouds. It was random but I thought it proved true the Physics law "Light travels in straight lines". Pity I didn't have my camera with me.
The past 2 days have been really hazy, with poor visibility and obviously no blue skies and unworthy pictures. The Sun was red and round this morning. Looked fake as the rays were all obscured by the haze.
4 hours of sleep has left me feeling light-headed. I need to revert back to my healthy lifestyle. And night shift tmr. Oh wells. Back to reality! Whoever said that good times don't last must have been a genius.
