An integral part of FYP is having to deal with professors.

Firstly, we have to liaise with them. That's where mistake no. 1 comes in. I have a huge problem figuring out which parts of their names are the surnames, and which parts are the first names. Which leads to mistakes when addressing them. Cui. I hope he won't stab me tmr. For example, there's this certain prof, whom I personally dislike vehemently ("hate" is too extreme), with 3 words in his name which can be used interchangeably as a surname. Put simply, his name is made up of 3 surnames. Wth.

Secondly, when figuring out their nationalities, I consult my friends to see if they have any idea. Here are the responses that I get.

Conversation 1

My goodness. This is leading nowhere. I should continue crafting my emails instead. Looking on the bright side, FYP brings a tinge of joy and laughter into my life.
