i see green spiders, red bugs and beautiful yellow and black butterflies. and even a pond skater in the puddle i was squeegy-ing this morn. i'm picking up coins and shaking my head at ppl who can't flush the toilet or turn off the tap.

it was funny seeing a little boy throw tantrums in the toilet today. one moment he was sitting on the floor wailing and grabbing on to the stroller wheels, the next he was silent, holding on to mommy's hand and looking blur and the next he's wailing again and struggling not to enter the changing room. and the cries continue for quite some time. the bathhouse was like a madhouse. it was flooded, dirty, full of wet bodies, women drying their boobies under the hand dryer, children wailing, ppl shouting, shoes, clothes and whatnot left behind, sunblock splattered on the floor, ppl wringing their clothes dry, adjusting bikinis.........

i had rashes on the back of my calf today, below my knees. noticed it b4 break and i tot it was heat rash or sth so i applied sunblock during break (and i was so preoccupied with finishing the cold chicken wrap and applying sunblock and rushing back to work that i forgot to get my paycheck ><) but the rash continued through the day, until now. there was a burning + painful sensation when i got up from a squatting position cos there was skin-skin contact btn the back of my calf and the back of my knees. so i went to kroger (again) after work and got some hydrocortisone. there were so many variations, even within the same brand and the indications and main ingredients and prices were the same so i had a hard time choosing. the deciding factor btn the diff brands was the expiry date in the end. haha. it's called "Cortaid" maximum strength cream which relieves itching and redness fast, with 1% hydrocortisone anti-itch cream. a pity the pharmacy had closed alr or i'd get someone to prescribe sth for me. and the sunblock here is cheap, will get more when my current one runs out. shall go apply my cream soon and hope tmr it will be fine. it's ugly having 2 large red patches and i was wearing shorts all day today. and i got a couple of funny insect bites which are real large, swollen, itchy and red =(

sat the "grizzly" today, which is 1 of the 4 wooden roller coasters in kings dominion. my, it was damn violent! i tot i almost sprained my neck during the first and highest parabolic drop. and i finally used my specs strap haha. but it was fun, very exciting and diff from other coasters even when there're no upside-down stunts.

my off day is tmr! yue hao is off too, but she needs to make prescription sunglasses so we'll try to make our way to the vision center at the walmart nearby. will arm ourselves with maps and bus guides :) and she borrowed jian wei's phone, which i tested out just now. i can call her but she can't call me cos his can only make local calls. guess we won't be going to play at KD then, since the last bus that departs VCU to KD is at 12pm. and u know how we're so not going to wake up early. shd be spending the day exploring bus routes and shopping centers and sunglasses shops i guess. hope i can get some clip-ons too, cos i'm almost going blind squinting at trash in the sun. today reached 34 deg celcius and i sweated damn alot, cos i rushed ard the park many times today, for stupid reasons. am feeling retarded now. and we had to run for the 8.30pm bus again -_______- oh and i had to close the bathhouse myself, which was freaking tiring cos it's so big, and i had to drag out 28 thick rubber bath mats myself. heck, i almost broke my back. and since the toilet was flooded and my shoes were so cui, cracking all round, water entered and my shoes and socks were soaked :( sad. lucky thing is tt im not working tmr, cos there's no heater in the dorm on which i can roast my shoes overnight, like b4.

received my wachovia card today, which is a debit card plus visa, but they haven't sent me my PIN so i can't activate it yet nor apply for online banking. can't wait to get my paycheck! am expecting 500+ for the last 2 wks of hard work.

oh yes. i did the personal checkout at kroger today. it's damn cool, u scan ur items urself and pay the machine, and it tells u to put the stuff in the bag when it senses that u've taken the bag away. wonder how it works. but it's quite fun even tho it's self-service and we still have to collect our change fr the attendant.

my shoes and slippers are all uncomfy, and my feet and legs are aching. need to buy some good footwear soon. it's getting hotter, nights are no longer cool.

hope my rashes go away. i didn't eat anything wrong and i don't rmb touching anything weird with the back of my calves =(

and my scalp is peeling =(
