what doesn't kill u only makes u stronger

i hereby proclaim myself ambidextrous. with the pan and broom, that is.

i've seen enough of boobies and moobies alr. but as long as i'm working in the waterpark, they'll be everywhere! the hair, the tattoos, the piercings, the tan, the sweat and water, the heat. these few days have been very hot and humid. i sweat lots, when i'm sweeping the walkways in the sun and esp after work when i have to run for the bus. my cap and sunblock saves me ;) but tt means i finally have to wash my uniform, esp since i don't wear an additional tee anymore. washing with 3 other eco ppl later, which means 8 yellow shirts in 1 washing machine and dryer. lol. so wasteful hor, but no choice, since the colour will run. i hope the guys' grime doesn't spread to my shirts. wonder why guys are so dirty. lol. and tmr i shall finally wear my khaki shorts. been sweating in my long pants for 2 days alr. and i think i'm losing weight cos my pants is getting looser and looser despite tightening my belt. haha. maybe it's cos of the sweat tt sticks the pants to my legs and drags it down or cos the belt is plaited and loose, but i think it's cos of all the exercise i'm getting. i'm on my feet 6-10 hrs a day, be it walking, running or just standing.

today was rather peaceful but boring, maybe cos i didn't have any run-ins with any supervisors lol. mostly cos the waterpark was pretty empty and there wasn't much to cleanup. Duane was in charge of us today, and in the morning i gave him the black face. :P he said i don't talk much for someone who knows alot. of cos la, cos i bear grudges wat :p but i'm ok now la. shall forgive and forget. things were much better in area 1, cos heard fr hu meng today tt they blatantly sat on the water tumbler and stool in the storage room in front of the supervisor but nothing happened. there's like 0 stress or expectations there, maybe oso cos tracy was in charge there today. she's pretty, so i like her. plus she's nice and lenient. haha. and the ppl in area 1 are more chatty and fun. today there were only 5 of us in area 4. me and another prc, danni, rotated btn the 2 toilets.

i hate the waterworks bathhouse, cos there's like 30 or so sanitary bins to change when i have to close the restroom. sian.

and i hate ppl who can't flush the toilet and ppl who leave their paper towels on the sinks. and ppl who buy new bikinis/clothes, cut and drop the tags on the toilet floor, which stick when it's wet and takes lots of effort to sweep up.

i finally don't have to eat my dinner past midnight. just had a small microwavable pizza and now having a bowl of microwavable nissin noodles. which says there's lots of veggies but tt's just the same old seasoning and black sauce tt comes w every instant mee.

went Kroger shopping after work last night, almost died. was basically damn tired, hands and feet were aching but everyone wanted to go so i did too. and i had break at 2pm, so basically the next time i ate was when we came back from Kroger, and tt was like 12am? lol. i'm really testing my limits here. don't know why i was so tired and weak ytd, cos during work my pan was like weighing a ton and my fingers were achy and numby and i just felt like fainting under the hot sun. lol. but i survived, as usual. even managed to drag all my groceries back altho it was tearing at my arms and poking at my legs. lol. and my feet were blistered from walking all day so it was bad wearing tt silly pair of slippers. had a hard time squashing everything into my fridge, even had to remove 2 shelves to have more space. cos me and yue hao each bot like a jug of milk. i think it's 1.5L. i bot eggs and bread too, a huge loaf to be finished by june 2. yikes. shall stuff myself. a pity they don't have my choco rice crisps skippy peanut butter here :( and i bot pizzas,10 for $10 so i shared and now i have 5 tortino's stuffed in my fridge. and today i just realised the box says "no microwave" and tt u have to oven bake it 12 mins. sian. don't care, i shall just microwave it. how else? tt's impt rations for me. it's just too exciting when u c "10/$10" and the box is BIG so u can't care less abt the cooking instructions. heh. there's so much food i wanna buy, like B&J ice cream, yummy looking cakes and dessert, cornflakes and choc. but i shall refrain till the next trip. i'm like spending all my money on food!! yet i still feel i'm not eating enough and tt i'm getting thinner :( but i just had a pizza and the salty black sauce "chow mein" and i feel quite grossed out now. shall worry abt tmr's breakfast later.

oh yes. ytd's highlight of the day was when i saw 2 guys and a small boy carrying toys. guy on the left was piggy-backing a huge life-sized scooby doo dog, guy on the right was piggy-backing a life-sized doggy and boy in the middle was piggy-backing a small cute green turtle. just picture it, it's so comical! would have taken a pic for sure if i had the chance. that's if i wasn't working and if i had a camera. but i was um-chio-ing to myself the whole way as i was walking behind them w my pan and broom, and i think guy on the right noticed, so he asked if i wanted the dog for 10 bucks. lol. was a good deal of course, but i said no thanks. park employees are not supposed to get any such prizes cos firstly they don't allow us to play the games and win anything and secondly, how was i gonna keep tt dog?! much less bring it back to SG. hahaah. would love to have tt large bluish green dolphin and cute monkey tho. i've spotted the toys i wanted alr, just thinking of how to land my paws on them. hee.

i love little kids who say hi or wave to me, little babies in strollers who flip the monkey's limbs ard and little kids who just look innocent and throw their trash in the bins.

i think i've given several wrong directions alr. why don't ppl just get a map? i'm thinking of how i directed this woman today and i think the way i handled it was quite funny too.
woman: how do i get to nickelodeon?
me: erm, u have to get out of the waterpark first.
woman: ?
me: u go that way, see the ppl there? follow the black road and u'll get out of the waterpark. from there, u can ask for more directions.

LOL! don't u think tt's just plain funny? cos i didn't exactly know how to direct her, unless i actually brought her. hey, i still don't know the park like the back of my hand yet.

it's hard not to get tan here. i think i have to upgrade my sunblock to like spf100 soon. lol.

and i'm sick of the songs played in the waterpark. they repeated everything like at least 3 times today. and i was only there fr 11 to 6.30. cui.
