I cannot survive without my bike. Gonna conquer Beijing on it! Biked to 绣水街 today, not much kick until the journey home haha. Pros are that we can cycle in any direction, even against the traffic, and who kiares about traffic lights. Which is why I suspect biking is faster than driving sometimes. Haha. Feel smug when traffic comes to a standstill and we get to whiz by unstopped in the bike lane or squeeze our way to the front of the junction. Hope my bike stays road-worthy cos I went over quite some rough terrain at 双井 and 国贸 today. I don't wanna have to get a mountain bike! The good thing about going to 绣水街 in cui attire is that we don't get bugged to buy Gucci and LV. Few shopkeepers care to hustle for business and that makes that place so much more bearable :) At the rate that our skills, speed and stamina are improving, we're not gonna get any kick out of PCN when we're back in SG. Damnit. Maybe we need to go end-to-end on the island to feel exercised. I want to make it to Raffles City (the Beijing one) and back some day! Biking eases my guilt for being too lazy to go to the gym haha. I had fish last night and tonight! :D Not the fresh fresh steamed one though.

Managed to get my mind off work for today until Goon msged me to revise the standard way of examining a patient cos she's gonna request for permission to do a full checkup for a patient. Damnit. What a wet blanket. There's work to be done tmr! I can't believe I'm so stressed out over intern. Seems like life is more hectic after the exams. Blame my intern mate for being so enthu and hardworking. I'll be living in her shadow forever if I don't pull my socks up. Lol. I actually had no mood to watch my show or read my novel on Thursday night and ended up studying about cerebral ischemia instead. Omg. So freakish right. I can't believe myself either. I thought intern was supposed to be slack! I haven't recovered from the last exam! Need a 7-day complete break man. Life's so tiring. On a more positive note her drive's gonna motivate (or rather force) me to learn more. Sigh. I can't wait for the reunion with the rest of my group in 针灸.

2nd round of book shopping! I've got 12 new books yay :D
