Am having trouble keeping up with the number of nieces and nephew I have. They're multiplying, and somehow I'm reminded of bacteria. (occupational hazard)

I have weird synapses in my brain. When my little niece hi-fived me with 1 hand, then the other, I thought about Notty and how he offered me 1 paw, then the other. Random links, I know.

I've always wondered whether the people, or rather the numerous youngsters selling computers really know what they're talking about. I still wonder.

Last night Pei suddenly msged me - FD3 was showing on channel 5. And it just had to be the classic nail gun part. I could even remember who it happened to. There's a classic scene which leaves the deepest impression in every sequel. FD1 was about the chair falling on the kitchen knife, FD2 was about the sun-tanning machine and FD3 was about the nail gun. Sick, but creative! I still want to watch The FD.

The other day I was walking in town and it dawned on me the difference between SG and Beijing. I shall confirm my suspicion after meeting and asking the wousin.

CNY feels like an obligation somehow. I think I'd be happier or more excited about it if it were a break from school/work. But since I'm already on break anyway, it seems like a chore. The questions are the same every year. The only thing I look forward to is Blackjack.

This is probably the only time I'll be free-er than everybody else. Can't say the same about next CNY though. Haha.

I miss lab, boss, my labmates and I can't wait to see our card and photo in "a prominent position in the ancillary office" :D Countless days and nights spent in SBS have brought so many nostalgic memories :) Yet I wonder about the changes. The new Indian phD, the current 4 FYP students...I secretly suspect they've chosen to work for boss so they can escape his notorious grilling during poster day. It's not like he's the most popular prof in school, see? Great foresight if you don't wanna be killed by him lol.

A pity I won't be around for the BSB concert :p

Am looking forward to good music next week :))

Can't help but feel old. Everyone has more responsibilities, less freedom, no interest in anything vaguely rah-rah and meaningless, and we all nod knowingly in agreement to "I'm going home to have a life." We've become more sensible, yet we tire more easily. It seems we've never been better kids.

Heavy eyelids, but still a thirst for my daily read.

Tomorrow will still be a sunny and humid day.
