unspoken

Things that are said reflect the mindset of the person who said it. Regardless of the person's state of mind at that point in time, whatever has been said cannot be taken back. It is inevitable for people to form impressions of a person based on the person's words and actions. Hence we should all be astute enough to judge for ourselves, the things that can be said, and the things that should not be said. Some words are better left unspoken. But once spoken, the world hears.

I came up with 10 (unspoken) rules of friendship.

Since they're supposed to be unspoken, don't expect them to be posted here :p

"Save for determinants that dictate male differentiation, the only characteristic that may be located on the Y chromosome is the attribute of hairy ears, which is not altogether devastating."
Don't you just find this hilarious? Sometimes I wonder whether I'm really reading a Patho textbook, or maybe the authors just have a sense of humour :) I found several examples to prove my point, but this is the only one I remember amidst the chunks of words, maybe cos it's the first.

Folie à deux is really quite nice. I'm liking it more and more :)

The time my dad caught me a horse shoe crab
And I asked him if throwing it back into the sea would bring our luck back

I wanna scream I love you from the top of my lungs
But I'm afraid that someone else will hear me
You can only blame your problems on my world for so long
Before it all becomes the same old song
As soon as we hit the hospital, I know we're gonna leave this town
And get new passports get out now
