Am itching all over. Mozzie attack! Can't seem to escape them, whether at home or in hall. Damn. Lucky I still have memory immunoglobulins to count on. HAHA. Can't risk another bout of dengue, you know?
Why does it always rain on me :( Got caught in the rain twice on Wed, and everytime I wanna go for a ride it just has to rain. Sigh~
Why does it seem that NTU used to be more happening at night in the past? All the same, I seem to have outgrown hall life. Maybe it's just pure ageing. I feel sleepy earlier at night when in school.
Things you learn by hard when you're young(er), you learn best. I'm surprised I remember the lyrics of all the old-school songs, be it chinese or english, but none of those newer ones. Meteor Garden never fails to amaze me. It's the classic, at least to me, cos it jump-started all that idol drama hoohahs that hasn't died down in >6 years. What a phenomenon. It's freaking lame and cheesy, but makes for great post-dinner relaxation and laughter, which of course aids digestion :))
Btw I found the antidote to sore throats! Day 1: 薄荷蜜 and Day 2: 金银花, and 菊花 on both nights! 良药苦口, so true! (cos 金银花 tastes horrible)
Am sleepy.
Don't you often wonder what the future holds? When all the mundanities at present won't count for anything at all when you look back years later? Yet things you should be working hard for at the moment might very well decide your fate. All the same, no expectations = no disappointment. Am feeling relieved :)
Of decisions, and choices. Of ironies, and puns. There come a day, when I can look down on the world and smile a knowing smile.
笑傲江湖, literally translated as Laughing Proudly in the Jianghu (hahahaha), means to live a carefree life in a mundane world of strife. An alternative English name is State of Divinity.
It makes me think of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. Our current lao shi talked about it. She's such a hip mama! More next time.
