1.22am 30 june

I’ve no idea why my wireless can’t work so I’m typing this into msword first.

It’s amazing how 35 000 ppl can squeeze into a (tiny) park called Kings Dominion. It was open park day for all the phone company employees and boy, it’s the most crowded day I’ve seen since I started working here. And today I experienced the most screwed up toilet in my life. It really was a total disaster. I was so pissed cos it was obvious the person before me did not do her job, but Duane wasn’t around for me to complain to. Hey although you’re transferred over from Rides, the least you could do is to sweep the floor and clear the trash right? Surely that’s idiot-proof enough. Anyway, paper towels outside the entrance and exit of the toilet was sufficient hint of the whirlwind going on inside. The trashcans were full to the brim, with paper towels on top of the cover and around the can, all over the floor, sinks….paper towels, toilet paper and soap all empty, floor wet and dirty…you name it, everything about the toilet had to be fixed. 1 hour wasn’t enough to clear the mess. Especially when there was a perpetual queue for the cubicles which hindered progress. I felt like I had a row of spectators, watching me clear trash and transfer it to another bag with my hands then struggle to lift the still-full and freaking heavy trash bag out of the can. The worst was when every minute I had to slam down at least 2 taps that were left running. 1 woman voiced my sentiments. “I don’t get why ppl can’t throw their paper towels in the trashcan, what kind of peasants are they? Only peasants do that!” LOL. I was smirking out loud. It was so terrible, and I was so tired, I didn’t know where to start. I had to fill like 5 or 6 paper towel dispensers all at once cos ppl were waving their hands at the dispenser like retards (actually it’s not sensor-operated) and asking me how it worked. Me: “erm, it’s empty?” Then they’d glare or roll their eyes and look pissed. Hahaha. But I got a pat on the back when a black woman said “you’re a good one!” (usually the blacks are the ones causing all the problems, they’re lazy, irritating, noisy and inconsiderate plus dirty and messy but a minority are real nice. It’s so extreme, extremely 败类 like the black sheep who stole my stuff, or extremely nice.) And yesterday what made my day was a conversation with this white woman.

She: Is this the dirtiest restroom you’ve got to clean up?

Me: Not really, there are worse ones.

She: I can’t even stand cleaning up my own toilet at home. You must be a good person to be able to do it, especially cleaning up after people you don’t love.

Hahaha. It’s the last sentence that counts ;)

And today I made the wisest decision ever since coming to KD. It was to leave early, at 8pm instead of waiting till the whole park closed. I had to do all 3 restrooms for my last hour, cos I was the only girl (as usual), and can u imagine what would happen if I had to close all 3 myself?! Heng man, I siam early. Else I’d probably go mad or faint from the stink, mess and work. Whoever had to transfer over to cover those 3 would prob have the time of her life. Hahaah. In 1 hour I collected 4 bags of trash from Shockwave restroom, and 2 bags from Arbor (when I had alr taken out 2 bags 3 hours before), and OVA was flooded. Totally. Hahaha. Once again, I hate irresponsible ppl. I’d rather they not send the Rides ppl over cos they’re better off not standing around and being an eyesore (to me at least).

I’ve got a friend from Columbia, 2 from Turkey and 1 from Serbia now. Lol. I like looking at light brown and blue eyes. That’s the only thing I find special about the Westerners. Columbian Giulio has very very poor English, I talk to him in sign language most of the time and he always just laughs so I don’t know whether he understands me at all. Turkish Ata Alaattin is 193cm tall and I’m always amazed cos I actually have to look up to talk to him. Turkish Gurkhan (forgot how to spell) talks a lot and is quite crappy. Serbian Slavomir is in Area 2 and I haven’t seen him for weeks. And I heard while we were away in vegas there was a fight between the Turkish and the Serbs which involved knives and blood. On the bus. So on late trips back to dorm now there’s a security guard in the bus. Lol. And it all started cos 1 side was too noisy and 1 side was outnumbered.

Ok I’m tired. Thankfully I’m off on 4 July Independence Day, cos I suspect there’ll be thousands of ppl again and life will be hard. There’ll be fireworks on that day though, so I’ll miss it :( but there should be fireworks on 5 july sat too :D

Am thinking of buying an ipod touch here, shd I get 8, 16 or 32 GB if I decide to get?
