Inner Mongolia

Inner Mongolia.

Left our snack bag on the train upon arrival :(( Bye to Paris Baguette yummies and all my cookies ;(

The slaughtering, degutting and skinning of a live sheep. Disturbing but anatomically enriching.

Never had so much 羊肉 in my life. Felt frigging heaty and I was so disappointed to see 羊杂汤 for breakfast the next morning. 王老吉 saved my life thankfully :)

~54hrs without bathing.

Sleeping on my bag in a Mongolian-style camp.

Peeing on the grass in the open.

Jumpshots! :D

Acres of open grassland and the boundless blue sky with white fluffy clouds. :))

Horse-riding and cantering :) Not to mention being kicked by my horse's mortal enemy. It frigging kicked my ankle when it was trying to kick my horse in the side. Pure evil. I had to steer away and yell at Kannak's horse everytime it came near.

Chasing lambs and moo-ing at cows haha :P

Catching sunset and the consecutive sunrise :)

Star-gazing!

Campfire with horse dung as fuel. It made me miss my guiding days...

Travelling on the bus for 6hrs from the grassland to the desert and 6hrs from the desert back to civilization.

Flying fox and sand slide! But not as exciting as I expected ><

Camel riding :) *screams because at this very moment Argentina scores its 4th (or rather 3rd if u exclude the 1st own goal) goal! OMGOMGOMG I can't believe how suay s.korea is. Ok back to the point. I was on the first camel in the line and it was the tallest. Scared me when it got up from its kneeling position cos it was so high. And there were no reins to cling on to so I felt rather insecure. Could only hold on the camel's hump.

Sandifying my camera :(( I think my camera is cursed to have an accident on every trip. I don't want Mongolian sand stuck in the nooks and crannies of my poor cammie!

First-hand witnessing of money laundering or rather cheating and how networking changes the balance of power, especially if you have police on ur side.

10+hrs on the bus back to Beijing. But we saw double rainbows!!!

Hohhot was really hot! Blazing in the day but cold at night and in the early morning.
