I had my first proper steak meal here in Bj today :) And it was fabulous! Can't remember when's the last time I had steak, not to say steak of such standard. I think the last time was burger with steak patty, but that's not counted. Yay am happy :D And DQ ice cream cake woots! Thank you my dear pigs! Hahaha. I feel so blessed today :)


Qing Dao last week felt like Singapore. The humidity and Sun. And the overall feel, with trees lining the roads and those atas bungalows with foreign architecture which reminded us of those in Bukit Timah and Caldecott Hill. But the beaches felt overcrowded and rather disgusting. I got burnt in 1 afternoon haha. Beer fest was overrated too, nothing like what we expected. Instead it was like a major large-scale congregation of 七月歌台s plus funfair and we sought more excitement out of crepes, milk tea and watching funfair basketball. It was pretty entertaining seeing the drunk ahpeks with their exposed bellies dancing on the benches and ang mohs being so entertained they were capturing such moments on video. The train ride was so horrendous I shall not elaborate on it. Never take 硬座 again man. Perpendicular seats! It's a wonder I didn't get DVT. But my tailbone ached, my butt hurt, I didn't sleep much the entire night, I couldn't drink and pee, there was no legroom and we were crowded by people in the aisles. Total nightmare. Lucky the train back to Bj wasn't so packed. And hailing cabs was a total headache too. *shudders*
